Bossard started her profession as a commercial seafood worker in the year 1999. Bossard began working at the vessel F/V Sunset which was a 65' halibut schooner which was converted into a tender for salmon in the name of Murat Aritan who worked in commercial fishing since. Bossard has been the wife of Aritan, has joined their teams to take over their respective industries. They are both in favor of conservative and profitable managing of the renewable resources for seafood. Otolith was created at the time of Philadelphia through Bella Bossard and is currently the mother of two children with ages of 3 and 1 Bossard. Her husband has a long history in the fish industry, which often keeps them apart for five months or more. This is when they're focused on their environmental and financial objectives. Bossard's children Isabella 12 years old and son Andre, age 10, return annually to Southeast Alaska to work in the position of deckhand throughout the salmon wild season. They use hooks and line to catch their fish before joining Aritan to sell to local processors for a period of two months.
